Updated Boundaries for Proposed City of South Dekalb Encompasses Nearly 300,000

These are the latest proposed boundaries of the un-named city that supporters hope will become reality in southern Dekalb County.
Although this sprawling proposal is not usually mentioned along with the other proposed Dekalb cities of Tucker and Lakeside, many in south Dekalb are showing interest in the hows and whys of this huge undertaking. The group behind the push to incorporate mostly everything in central and southern Dekalb, Concerned Citizens for Cityhood of South Dekalb, have informational and working meetings every week. Be sure to check out this blog's calendar for meeting info.
